Art & Music

Our newly renovated, fine arts workshop allows our campers to explore their creative side and discover new talents. At Camp Wayne we like to ‘Say Yes to the Mess!’

At the MADD Workshop (Music, Art, Design & Digital Media), campers can choose between ceramics, painting, drawing, jewelry, tie-dye, silkscreen, sculpture, printmaking, photography and music.

Each art class is limited to around six campers which allows our skilled art staff to provide quality instruction. Campers spend 3 days at an area of their choice so they can complete a project before selecting a new workshop. Campers proudly display their art work in our Visiting Day Gallery.

Our music, or ‘rock band’, program is led by professional musicians and vocalists and is for campers of all abilities. Campers can channel their inner rock star by singing or learning to play the guitar, drums and/or keyboard. Camper bands look forward to performing at our Waynestock Festival and some bands perform on Visiting Day. Campers can also enjoy our ukulele lounge and ‘chill on the hill’ while practicing mindfulness (a.k.a. MADDitation.)
