Team Sports

We like to say ‘Team Work makes the Dream Work.’  Although winning is fun, our campers are taught that the most important thing is to try your best.

Team sports at Camp Wayne Girls include soccer, basketball, volleyball, lacrosse and softball. On occasion, girls will play gaga, capture the flag and even flag football. Our athletics program allows for girls of all abilities and interest levels to enjoy participating and feel good about their accomplishments.

Our more competitive campers have the opportunity to receive personal instruction during their elective periods and compete in games and tournaments against other Wayne County camps. We are fortunate to be part of the Wayne County Athletic Association (WCAA), a unique organization comprised of over 20 camps in close proximity that compete in several tournaments throughout the summer. Wayne Girls hosts the WCAA volleyball tournaments and participates in over 40 WCAA tournaments and invitationals over the course of the summer.
